Misconceptions

HUD is NOT just for subsidized housing

One of the most pervasive and persistent misconceptions is that HUD multifamily
financing is only for Section 8 or LIHTC or other affordable low-end housing in
poor areas.

Nothing could be further from the truth.

Despite the low rate and government guarantee, HUD multifamily financing is
available to super-upper end Class "A"+ properties in high cost areas - as well
as those noted in the first paragraph and everything in between.
